Las Vegas, Nevada Attractions

Although Las Vegas is rarely the first choice of the traveling family, and many consider the idea of a Vegas 'family vacation' to be downright ludicrous, the city will surprise parents with how much there is to offer young vacationers. Families with younger children should be aware that many attractions are within casino hotels; since gambling is illegal for anyone under 21, many hotels post age restrictions forbidding non-guests to even enter the premises. Always check with your hotel's concierge before planning a visit. All such casino-based attractions are marked with an * below.

Try The Worlds Greatest Magic Show at the Greek Isles hotel and casino. They have 8-10 different magicians, and some of them are bound to specialize in sleight of hand!

I have a 12 year old son who is an amateur magician, and I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts about which show would be best for him to see. The big stage tricks are fun, but I'm thinking a magic show with more sleight of hand would be better for him. Has anyone been to many of the magic shows in Las Vegas?

Yes, I agree. Of all the Cirque du Soleil shows, "Mystere" is the best for children. And I also think it is the best of all their shows. It is expensive, however.
