From parks to plays to pools, amusement for the family on the French Riviera.

Here are some amusements to entertain the family throughout the French Riviera, in Cannes, Nice, and St. Tropez: 

Cannes

Parks and Playgrounds:
At the west end of La Croisette between the Palais des Festivals and the beach, is a shaded grassy park area with a playground, including slides and other equipment. You'll find a real carrousel there, and sometimes in the summer an even bigger one is set up out on the Esplanade in front of the Palais.

At the east end of La Croisette, just before the new Port Canto Yacht Harbor, is another park and playground.  This one also has carnival-type rides for the bigger kids.

Besides the playground, at the east end of La Croisette is the Jardin Alexandre the Third, a lovely large park filled with flowering gardens.

These are open to visiting families.  Call ahead for hours of operation and bring your own towels and bathing caps.
