Colonial Williamsburg is a place of history, of simpler times and… of murder.

Now, spirits can tell their own side of the story when guests take advantage of the Ghosts & Legends Package offer.

Lasting through November 24, the package will include accommodations at a Colonial Williamsburg on-site hotel, a daily breakfast at the hotel, guest passes to the Historic Area and ongoing exhibitions, and a 20% discount at most on-site gift shops.

In addition to one dinner at a historic dining tavern, tickets will be provided for the Ghosts Among Us tour, a chilling adventure telling the tales of the town’s dark past.

Rates begin as low as $96/N per adult for a two-night minimum stay at the Woodlands Hotel and Suites. Children 6-14 years of age sharing a room with parents pay only an additional $18/N each.

Standard rooms for this price include two double beds, while the entire hotel itself is furnished and decorated to reflect a contemporary old Williamsburg home.

Also, be sure to make plans accordingly for weekend stays as ghost tours on not available on Sundays.

If this spirit-filled experience isn’t haunting enough, families can get their thrills at Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, which, you may have heard, has changed ownership from Anheuser-Busch to an investment bank heavily involved in the travel industry.
