You’ve just graduated high school, now it’s time to celebrate with Ecoventura. After a successful 2009 "Graduation Cruise," Ecoventura is planning their 2010 family cruises to the Galapagos Islands, so study hard, graduate, and then head to the Galapagos with your family.

The 2010 Graduation Celebration has three separate tour dates beginning May 30-June 6, June 6-June 13, and June 13-June 20. This week-long, all-inclusive cruise starts at rates of $3,150/PP and will take you all over the Galapagos. From zigzagging back and forth across the equator to the surrounding islands of Santiago, Santa Cruz, and many others, passengers will get to experience so much. Snorkeling with penguins and sea lions, guided wildlife hikes, photography, lava tube exploration, star gazing, and more will keep your days full.

Although the adventure-filled days are enough to keep everyone busy, you won’t want to miss out on the spur-of-the-moment activities like diving off the deck, or a graduation party with live entertainment provided by the captain, crew, and other guides.

Family Cruises are a popular part of Ecoventura’s offerings, with specialty cruises that cater to specific age groups like the 7 to 11-year-olds and the 12 to 17-year-olds, who get a more action-packed, adventure cruise. Older kids will enjoy the special activities like movie and popcorn nights and the King Neptune costume party. Younger kids will like learning how to tie knots from the experts, ice cream socials, boardgames, and DVD’s. The ship offers a kids menu and child-sized life vests, fins, and wetsuits are also available.

The Family Departures are offered during school vacations to accommodate families needs.

Ecoventura offers guests a smaller, more manageable cruise aboard their three 20-passenger yachts the M/Y Eric, Flamingo I, and the Letty. These three-deck yachts feature a dining room with Ecuadorian and international cuisine, air-conditioned cabins with private bathrooms, and a conference area with a flat-screen TV, DVD player, and library. Guests can enjoy three meals a day along with snacks and drinks, and welcome/farewell cocktail parties hosted by the captain. Complimentary snorkeling equipment is provided.

2009 cruises are still available for booking as well. The cruises are 8D/7N and will depart through the end of the year, with the final 2009 departure being on December 26.

Based in Ecuador, with offices in Quito and Miami, Ecoventura is a family-owned business that has been in operation since 1990.
