If your family craves outdoor adventures, Michelin star-rated restaurants, and quality time together along with the beautiful backdrop of the Alps, northern Italy’s Hotel & Spa Rosa Alpina in the Dolomiti will create an unforgettable European summer experience for you.

From June until September, 2009, the hotel in San Cassiano, Italy is offering numerous family package deals where you can dine, climb, mountain bike, and simply enjoy the area, all at a discounted price.

Summer 2009 Packages include:

Dolomites Kids- This three or six night package is designed to create both togetherness and personal time for children between 4-12 and their parents. Activities for children include discovery walks, treasure and fossil hunting, animal tracking, mountain biking, hiking with mountain goats, and art or cooking classes. Parents each receive a €60 credit to the on-site Daniela Steiner Spa and a 20% discount at the Alta Badia Golf Club. Accommodations include a deluxe room or a junior suite with a complimentary upgrade and daily breakfast in the Limonaia restaurant. Guests will also receive one night free in the hotel's private mountain cabin, which sits 6,500 feet high.

Children up to 12 stay free in the same room as their parents. Three-night packages for a family start at Euros 1,450 and six-night packages start from €2,650.

Luxury Family Hiking- Wake up to stunning mountain views and get ready to venture out with your family to see the Santa Croce mountain range or hike the Fanes valley. This four-night package features a double room accommodation in this posh resort, plus one night in a mountain inn, meals included.  Explore WWI tunnels and 20th century fortresses in Italy during the day, and dine at the gourmet hotel restaurants at night for a luxurious version of an outdoor family vacation. Shared double room accommodations range from Euros 1,680 per person for up to four for 5 nights, and each family will be provided with their own tour guide.

Guests should also visit nearby towns in northern Italy or venture to the many surrounding cities like Venice or Innsbruck, Austria, which are both about a two-hour drive. All packages include complimentary mountain bike and hiking stick rentals. Note that this is a land-only deal; hotel rates do not include airfare.

No two rooms are alike in this spectacular hotel that has been featured by Conde Nast Traveler, Harpers Bazaar, and Bon Apetit. If the mountains seem unappealing, the hotel itself will keep you absorbed for days. But families should find it impossible to pass up this type of a deal—nature, adventure, and family are all comfortably combined at Hotel & Spa Rosa Alpina.
