Besides the unique activities meant to acquaint one to his/her surroundings, what sets 'Epic Summer' apart is the pool of experienced Vail Resort guides who will lead guests through the entire itinerary, beginning with their arrival and ending with their farewell.  These tour guides have been specially selected for their passion for Colorado and the mountains.  Experts on history, culture, and ecology, they will ensure not only the logistical planning of the tour, but make certain that guests understand, appreciate, and learn about the surroundings.

Guests on the six-night, seven-day itinerary will experience the following activities:

• Standing on top of the Continental Divide during a trip to the world-renowned Rocky Mountain National Park.
• Whitewater rafting down a scenic Colorado river.
• Horseback riding on Beaver Creek Mountain through groves of aspens, pines, and fields dotted by wildflowers.
