Q - Kimberly M. of Stow, Ohio writes: My family needs an oceanfront hotel in mid-June, somewhere on the NE coast, for a beach holiday with a 3, 6, and 13-year-old.

A - It will probably be too cold in June for beach activities along most of the New England coastline.  As an alternative, we think your family would enjoy New York's Long Island where the weather should be warmer at that time.
