Smile Your lifestyle

Are you always on the go like me, need to be doing something, seeing something, hearing or viewing something to keep sane? How many times do you just travel, even short road trips just to get away from it all? What is your own travel lifestyle?

When I lived in Pennsylvania, I often needed an escape from too many cows and not enough excitement. I have to say that short bouts of roadtripping were my favorite way to escape, but it was easy since I had a car readily available. (I was also decent at smooth talking my parents into letting me take these trips every now and then)

Now that I'm in New York, I definitely miss being able to just leave everything behind for a while to get some peace of mind!

Yeah, roadtrips are definitely a necessity for me. I grab a map and a snack, invite my brother to come along, and just drive in the most interesting direction. I don't pull out the map until it's time to figure out how to get home. And I usually take 2 or 3 bigger trips a year, too.
