You can also use your atm card at airports just as easily.  In the old days it was easy to use traveler's checks to pay for a restaurant meal, hotel room or purchases. Not so anymore as fewer and fewer establishments accept them - some younger workers have never seen them before and don't recognize them. If you carry traveler's checks, be prepared to cash them at a bank or airport.</div>
