Nickelodeon Family Cruises: It's Time for Slime!
Need a family vacation that will completely entertain the kids and give you plenty of time to relax? Well, we have great news! Due to the success of their last cruise, Nickelodeon and Royal Caribbean International just announced that they will be launching, not one -- but two -- new week-long cruises set to embark next summer! The Mariner of the Seas will leave from Los Angeles, California on July 26, 2009 and travel to the Mexican Rivera and Freedom of the Seas, the largest ship in the world, will leave on August 9, 2009 from Port Canaveral, Florida and head to St. Thomas St. Maarten and the Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas, CocoCay.
The original Nickelodeon themed cruise that ended its tour in August was such a hit, that it completely sold out. The two new cruises will be offering the same experiences as the first cruise, plus so much more. Your kids can look forward to meet-and-greets with their favorite Nickelodeon characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer, interactive game shows, green slime included, and all new screenings of the shows they know and love.
On top of all the Nickelodeon inspired entertainment, Royal Caribbean has revamped its ships to provide you with the best experience possible. The Mariner of the Seas is the largest ship to port on the West Coast and includes amenities such as an ice-skating rink, rock-climbing wall, and basketball court. Parents can relax at the day spa or work off the delicious meals (including a Ben & Jerry's) at the fitness center. There are multiple themed lounges to enjoy and don't forget the Casino Royal!
Freedom of the Seas also has a huge range of activities including an H20 Zone water park, nine-hole
mini-golf course, and FlowRider surf simulator. Along with its fitness center and spa, this massive ship also boats a full-size boxing ring and a sports pool. Parents can keep in touch with people back home using the ship's WiFi capabilities and cell phone connectivity.
The packages for both of these cruises are set to go on sale to the public starting in mid-September, so start planning the fun-filled family vacation you, and your kids, have always dreamed of! Visit Nick Family Cruise for more information.
