Baby Deserves 24-Hour Room Service
Family Travel Forum Staff

Nursing moms on-the-go can take advantage of hotel room service to keep babies happy.

Are you a nursing mother on the go, baby in tow?

Don't forget - expressed breast milk retains nutrients for only 24 hours. If you won't be using it immediately, fill individual zip-loc bags or bottles with 1½ portion servings, then date and freeze it (good for up to 60 days.)

If you're flying, wrap milk packets in ice and ask the flight attendant to store them in the galley fridge. Once you're at your hotel, have the concierge send your precious parcel to the kitchen's deep freezer.

If you're out when baby's hungry, the caregiver can call Room Service to order a gently warmed milk pack delivered to your room, usually at no charge!
