Baby Flies High with these Plane Safety Products
Family Travel Forum Staff
Anything that can make air travel with baby a little bit easier is a welcome relief! Here are two safety products that will make the flight smoother for your infant, and you.
These three air travel products could prevent ear pain or safety concerns from keeping your child grounded.
Ear Planes (Franzus, $5.99/children's pair) For any parent who has suffered with a child screaming from in-flight ear pain, there may be hope. The "ear plane" is a plug-like device that equalizes changes in air pressure to alleviate child's (and parent's) pain. We have heard reports of both success and failure. Available at some drugstores in adult and children's sizes.
Baby B'Air Infant Vest ($29.00) This safety vest for 12- 24 months unticketed "lap children" attaches to an adult airplane seat belt to ensure the child remains restrained at all times. It's a degree of insurance against sudden turbulence. Available at Family On Board.
Giggle Bug Toddler Tracker ($19.95) This unique tracker provides parents and care-givers the ability to locate a missing child indoor or out with a touch of a button. The Giggle Bug will beep and the eyes of the bug will blink until the child is located and the adult de-activates the unit. The tracker is designed to be used with children ages 18 months to 6 years, and is ideal for malls, parks, and airports. Available in most retail store and on Family on Board.
