Our family had a wonderful time traveling together during the summer of 2001 in Québec City, eastern Canada. We stayed in the Vieux Ville at a great hotel -- but it only accepts cash payment.

The best part of the trip, according to our 1-year-old, was having Dad carry her, in a stroller, up and down the thousands of steps in the city. Though I'm sure our non-walking daughter appreciated it, we found that lots and lots of steps were tough with a stroller.

We thought the highpoints of our trip were the cool weather in July, Québec City's great food, and having more dollars after converting our US money to Canadian money.

Some of the other great things we did were visit the Plains of Abraham and hear concerts at the Jazz Festival (in mid July).

We also ATE, ATE, ATE, enjoyed historic horse and buggy rides, and learned about early North American history.

Our family had a great time during our stay in Québec City and would recommend it to other FTF families.
