Greetings Fellow Travelers,

How many of you were working over a holiday weekend? Over the past year, we've noticed many families signup for Family Travel Forum with a business email address, leading us to believe that fun stuff like family vacation planning is getting mixed right in with client nightmares and memos from Corp HQ. There's a bill on its way to Congress soon that will require employers to provide paid vacations to all employees, even part time workers. Are you surprised that opposition to it has already begun?

Let us know your thoughts about how much vacation is required to stay sane, and wherever you're off to (if you have time to get away), safe there, safe home,
Kyle and Fran [deals@familytravelforum.com]

Family vacations are great. Sometimes “off-beat” locations can provide experiences that you just can’t get from typical vacation spots.

For example, ever consider vacationing in Spokane? Here’s a link to a :30 second video that presents some family options from a marmot’s point-of-view.
